This issue is regarding the holiday that is already upon us~ Christmas!! I can't believe it myself, just last month it was 80 degrees and my kids were playing soccer in October. But as I busily prepare for Thanksgiving, I am reminded of how quickly the seasons change not only outside but also in our lives.
Today my children are young, however tomorrow they will be grown and I will wonder what happened to the years? This reminds me of Luke 2:40 "And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon him". Let me just exhort you this holiday season that you are giving your child the greatest gift of all; a solid foundation built upon the Lord's word. Regardless of whether you can afford a big Christmas or not, the favor of God is upon your children thanks to your tireless prayers!!! What could be more of a blessing than that?
